The WSJ Paper Hats
17 June 2009
Today was filled with mini-adventures and one involved making paper hats. The BF came up with the brilliant idea to make paper hats using today’s Wall Street Journal. This came to him while we were outside of Rocco’s sipping on a $2.75 pitcher of PBR.
The BF explains how paper hats are made.

And ends with him looking adorable.

Here’s a random photo of Portland. Don’t ask–after all, this is Portland. Its been there for a while and it seems like the collection is slowly growing.

I also baked a hearty loaf of beer bread and a delicious pot of champagne risotto when we got home. I’ll blog about that at another time.
I like books, fashion, hot weather, museums, photography, technology, + yoga. I dislike those who lack ambition in life + my inability to defy gravity and understand the ten dimensions. Oh, I love caffeine, including iced jasmine tea but only when it's warm out.

Any significance to using WSJ for paper hats? Or was it just there?
I like your new blog, particularly your header. I can use some inspiration to break out of my blogging slump.

We had the WSJ and Forbes with us but it was ironic to be reading that at a place populated by trendy hipsters.
I’m glad that you like the header! I made it from several stock photos. Let me know if you want me to make you one to help you get back into the blogging groove. It’s rather easy.
